Peter Jacobs
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Peter Jacobs is an award-winning creative director and interactive professional having founded in 1986 Shark Communications, a Burlington, Vermont-based advertising, marketing and interactive agency. Peter's agency has a consistent and successful history, serving clients in a variety of industries with an integrated mix of strategy, marketing and interactive management. A former professional skier with Killington, Vermont as his base, Peter's yachting experience began on the north shore of Boston, Massachusetts where he sailed a variety of one-design classes winning numerous district championships. He has finished in the top five of several national sailing championships, worked as the sailing and racing director for yacht clubs on both the north and south shores of Massachusetts and has completed yacht deliveries along the east cost of the United States - most notably for his father's 44' Offshore Cheoy Lee.

Gary Savard
Founder and Chief Technology Officer

As founder and CTO of Yachtwhere.com, Gary delivers more than twenty years experience in the software engineering field and is one of only a handful of IEEE Certified Software Development Professionals (CSDP) in the world. Gary's technical background covers a wide range of technologies and includes experience as a systems architect, systems engineer, systems analyst, software engineer, database administrator/developer, and test/QA engineer. He belongs to several professional and Veteran's organizations including the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, Retired Officer Association, Software Engineering Institute, IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Standards, Infraguard, and the ACM. When not managing Yachtwhere's systems and software team, Gary can be found teaching at Champlain College where he developed the undergraduate major in software engineering, hiking, skiing, or more likely atop his Harley Davidson cruising through the Green Mountains of Vermont.
